Our partners are so important and we accomplish a lot together. Primary funding for this project is provided by the Susan G Komen foundation.
Community partners provide leadership for the project, support for implementation, and valued perspectives on the needs of breast cancer survivors and others in the community. We are always looking for community partners who are interested in helping us to reach our goals of promoting health & wellness for persons treated for breast cancer, and reducing breast cancer mortality. Community partners can be almost anyone with an investment in the health and wellness of breast cancer survivors, including representatives of: cancer-focused non-profits, senior living centers, health systems, faith organizations, schools, health board members, or town leaders. ***Although this project has received substantial funding from partners like the Susan G. Komen Foundation, there is no absolutely no expectation of financial support from community partners - nor will community partners ever be solicited to provide it.***
